ANALYSIS OF PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

چکیده

Objectives describe students' public speaking abilities and barriers, as well their solutions. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection techniques using interviews, observations, documentation. It was conducted in one of the private elementary schools Malang City, class VI. The results assessment skills school children are still low. test showed that 61.3% students did not complete KKM (score 77). Internal factors include lack self-confidence courage conveying thoughts speaking, difficulty choosing good correct words Indonesian, expressing or ideas speaking. External community's living environment (use regional languages) affect ability to speak.
